Non-varsity boys golfers win 6 medals
Sixteen non-varsity golfers from the Lake City boys’ golf team traveled to Dodge Country Club in Dodge Center on Monday, May 16 for the 10-team Triton Invitational and came away with six of the nine medals awarded.
Brady Schurhammer, Carter Gnotke, and Jesse Oliver shot 42’s on the par 37 front nine to tie for low score in the first flight. Brady took home the medalist award by winning a tie-breaker based on his score on the No. 1 handicap hole.
