Nordic team closes season at ‘JV Champs’
“JV Champs” is a huge opportunity for high school junior varsity skiers to compete on a high caliber championship course against their JV (junior varsity) conference counterparts.
On Monday, Feb. 9, Lake City faced off against the 12 other Twin City Nordic Ski Conference JV teams on the 5 kilometer competition course at Hyland of Bloomington. The goal of the event this year was for junior varsity skiers to test their skiing skills on the same course that their varsity teammates did a week earlier at the section meet.
