On Sept. 10 and 13, the Lake City High School Tiger girls soccer team battled the Pine Island-Zumbrota-Mazeppa (PIZM) Wildcats, on their home field and away.
Girls soccer has been suffering many injuries leading to a handful of starters who have had to sit out entirely or most of each competition.
The Wildcats took a lead at half Sept. 10 of 3-0. Despite the opponents lead, the Tigers continued to play hard. The match concluded 7-0 with a loss for the Tigers. Junior varsity lost 8-0.
