Punt, Pass and Kick is no more

On May 1, 2017 the National Football League (NFL) announced the formal termination of the Punt, Pass and Kick (PPK) competition program after 56 years.

The league said the decision was made to develop a better way in reaching the football youth. The emphasis will be towards team and school-based programs to help introduce more kids to the fundamentals of football in school and other recreational environments, according to a news release.
