Rice wins division at National Bench Press competition, narrowly misses open class title

Christy Rice of Lake City recently completed her third National Bench Press competition on July 13th in Greenville, S.C.
She placed first in the 60kg (132.3lb) Master’s 1 Division for the third year in a row with a bench press of 209.4lbs.
Rice narrowly missed 1st place in the Open division on a tie breaker. The tie breaker came down to who weighted in less that morning. Christy weighted in at 59.2kg while her competitor weighed in at 59.0kg.
