Schultz wins third Lake City Invitational

Cory Schultz of Owatonna captured his third Lake City Invitational Championship Sunday at the Lake City Golf Club. Schultz fired a 45-hole total of 183 to win by six shots over past champion Alex Wallerich of Lake City and Brad Scheel of Wabasha. Last year’s winner Mark Kennedy fishished in fourth place.
Ninety-eight golfers competed in the tournament over the weekend. Schultz last won the tournament in 2014.
