Second-half Stewartville run seals victory over Tiger boys

Ninth-ranked Stewartville used a 17-6 run to open the second half to key a 63-54 victory over Lake City last Monday night.

Both teams struggled to find an offensive rhythm early before Braxton Berlin provided a spark off the bench for Lake City by scoring eight points in less than two minutes, including a pair of three-pointers. A field goal by Luke Narum gave Lake City a 13-9 lead with 8:58 to play until halftime before Stewartville would rally with a pair of three-pointers that helped knot the score at 17 with 7:27 to play until halftime.
