Soccer boys win 9-0

The Lake City boys soccer team defeated Triton-Kenyon-Wanamingo-Hayfield 9-0 on Aug. 31.

Lake City led at the half 5-0.

Aidan Palmer led the Tigers with five goals. Also scoring for Lake City were Steven Ramirez, Chris Ramirez, Jon Harvey, and Owen Meyers.

Patrick Palmer is the Tigers’ head coach this year.

The boys play tonight (Thursday) at home vs. Pine Island-Zumbrota-Mazeppa. On Tuesday, Sept. 8, they are away against Stewartville. They play Byron at home on Sept. 10. All three games begin at 7 p.m.
