Soccer girls bow to D-E in sectionals

The Lake City girls soccer team travelled to St. Charles Oct. 13 to face the fourth seeded Dover-Eyota Eagles in the first round of section playoffs.  Lake City came in as the 13th seed and were looking to avenge an early season loss to the Eagles.
Dover started off very aggressive offensively with a lot of ball movement that frustrated the Tigers. Dover finally broke the Tiger defense midway through the first half on a corner kick that the Tigers struggled to clear and Dover was able to poke the ball into the back of the net.
