Soccer girls fall to KoMets 13-1

Lake City High School girls soccer played against Kasson-Mantorville at the football field on Friday, Aug. 28.

The Tigers fell to the KoMets 13-1, but Tigers senior captain Jenna Brown made girls soccer history by scoring the Tigers’ first ever goal in a game played at the football field.

The team plays Friday, Sept. 4, away at Pine Island-Zumbrota-Mazeppa. On Tuesday, Sept. 8, they are at home vs. Stewartville.

Alydia Zemke is the Tigers’ head coach.
