Softball Tigers are edged by strong ZM team
The Lake City Tigers girl’s softball team that showed up to the April 8 match-up against the Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Z-M) Cougars was the same team spectators watched play an excitingly, competitive game against Plainview-Elgin-Millville April 2.
Even with the few miscues they had in the infield, the Tigers displayed some top-notch defense against a seasoned, and well-developed Cougar team, holding Z-M to only eight runs, while racking up six of their own.
