Softball Tigers edged 4-3 by Goodhue
On May 13, the softball battle against the Goodhue Wildcats started with a special ceremony to honor seniors Allison Hanson, Ashley Thieren and Cora Fitterer; all valuable and very loved players on the Lake City Tiger team.
Following letters read to the seniors from their teammates, hugs all-around, and the national anthem, the girls headed to their home team dugout and prepared for what’s always a tough fight against their section rivals.
Olivia Bailey started the Tigers off on a good note when she high-tailed it into foul territory to catch the first batter’s fly ball.
