Softball Tigers suffer extra inning loss to PEM

April 2nd’s softball game against Plainview-Elgin-Millville (PEM) may have added the second loss to the Tigers’ record, but it surely wasn’t a game to be ashamed of.
A fairly quick first inning on offense for the Lake City High School Tigers softball team ended with a run on the board from a pop fly by outfielder Cora Fitterer that fell out of the infielder’s glove and scored second baseman Allison Hanson..
The Tigers then made quick work of the field on defense and left the Bulldogs scoreless going into the second.
