Although small in size for the first meet, the Lake City speech team flexed some big speaking muscles Feb. 1 at Kasson-Mantorville.

With thirteen entries, the team set out for fun day of speaking, making new friends, and exploring new candy options. The day started with some raucous warm ups to engage the vocal cords, the muscles cold from a long bus ride, and the funny bone to set a good tone for the day.
