St. John's competes in New Ulm tournament

The St. John’s Eagles traveled to New Ulm, Minn. to participate in the MLC (Martin Luther College) Lutheran Invitational Basketball Tournament. This annual three day tournament, which started in 1956, is an opportunity for the Eagles to play against other Lutheran schools from all over South Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

The girls team beat St. John’s of Goodhue with a score of 28 to 16 to take third place. The girls were led by eighth graders Rachel Fischer and Natalie Swanson.
