Stewartville ends LC Tiger girls playoff hopes

The ninth seed Lake City Tiger girls basketball team traveled to the Mayo Civic Arena in Rochester Feb. 27 to take on the top seed Stewartville Tigers in Section 1AA playoffs quarterfinals.
Stewartville took control of the tip off but Lake City would get a rebound and a quick pass from Allison Kubista to Grace Bany to give the Tigers the first basket of the game.
