Stewartville tops LC 4-3 in softball outing
Just when it looked like the Lake City Tigers girls softball team might pull in their first win of the season, the seventh inning came back to haunt them and dash those hopes once again.
Pitcher Ashley Thieren started the Tigers off on the right foot by striking out the first batter of the night, but the next Stewartville batter sent the ball flying to left center for a triple. Left fielder Deonna Jostock caught the next hit for an out, but the batter on third was able to score for the Stewie Tigers.
