Strong second half helps boys defeat Cougars

A key 12-0 second half run propelled Lake City to a lopsided 66-42 road conference victory at Zumbrota-Mazeppa Tuesday, Dec. 21.

The Tigers hit eight three-point field goals in the first half against the Cougars zone defense as the visitors raced to a 13-7 lead after eight minutes of play. Ryan Heise hit a pair of three-pointers, while Justin Wohlers also knocked down a shot from beyond the arc as part of the Tigers solid start to the game.
