Summer Golf News
The final Minnesota Golf Association (MGA) summer league meet was held July 16 at Mount Frontenac Golf Course.
Lake City Golf Club won the event with a 164, followed by Heritage Links 181 and New Prague 208.
Lake City Golf Club was led by medalist Emily Schimbeno’s 81, Lidia Wallerich 83, and Lexi Geolat 84.
Lexi Geolat competed in a Players Tour event held at Indian Hills County Club in Stillwater on July 20. Lexi fired an 87 on the par 74 course placing third in a field of 12 players.
