Summer success for girls golfers
Local girls golfers participated in a pair of recent events.
Jordana Windhorst Knudsen of the Lake City girls golf team recently won a Players Tour event held at The Wilds with rounds of 78-77.
Windhorst Knudsen won the event by six strokes in a field of 19 players. The Players Tour is an invite only tour that includes the top junior players in the state.
Local golfers Mattie Mears, Ella Matzke, Emma Berge, Brooke Bee, and Kaitlin Schmidt competed in a Junior Tour event held at Lake City Golf Club on June 28.
