Tennis team drops two on the road

The Lake City Tigers boys tennis team played two matches on the road last week when they ventured to River Falls and Stewartville.  They were defeated on both outings.
On April 24 they took on the Wildcats and were schooled 6-1.
Mitch Medvec claimed the lone Tiger point at No. 2 singles with an easy 6-2, 6-3 win.
Peyton Fick was shut down at No. 1 singles 0-6, 0-6 as was Jack Bremer at No. 4 singles 0-6, 0-6.
Brandon Ormsby found no better success at No. 3 singles going out 1-6, 0-6.
In doubles play River Falls was in control all the way.
