Tennis team fights wind, 3 foes in opener

The Lake City Tigers boys tennis team opened their season with a quadrangular on a blustery and cool Saturday, April 19 at the Baldwin-Woodville High School. They were soundly defeated in all three of their matches.
Against Amery, Wis., the Tigers went down 6-1.  Jacob Miller stepped into the No. 1 singles spot and was outplayed 1-6, 4-6.
Jack Bremer swung it out at No. 2 singles, losing 2-6, 4-6.
Ian Halpaus went out 4-6, 0-6 at No. 3 singles.
Matt Deegan was defeated 2-6, 2-6 at No. 4 singles.
