The Lake City High School Girls tennis team lost matches against Minneapolis Southwest, Tri-City/Cleveland Co-op, and Faribault Co-op on Aug. 20.
Minneapolis Southwest defeated Lake City 6-1.
Singles:
No. 1 - Ellen Davis of Minneapolis Southwest defeated Rylee Thieren of Lake City, 6-0, 6-1.
No. 2 - Emily Springer of Minneapolis Southwest defeated Mary Kate Bauer of Lake City, 6-2, 6-1.
No. 3 - Lia Ruff of Minneapolis Southwest defeated Therese Bauer of Lake City, 6-2, 2-6, 6-4 .
