Tennis Tigers bow in first round of Section 1A team action
The season came to end for the Tiger tennis girls Oct. 6 when they were defeated by Winona Cotter 4-3 in the first round of the Section 1A team tennis tournament at Winona.
The Tigers were in control in the doubles bracket going 3-0.
At No. 1 doubles, Kasi Cronin and Ashley Thieren played out three sets again Erin Getzin and McCarthy Leaf for the Ramblers. In the first set Lake City cruised 6-0. Winona then came back and took the second set 3-6. Cronin and Thieren finished off the match with a 6-0 third set win.
