Tennis Tigers bow twice
The Tiger tennis girls did not fare too well last week against two of their Hiawatha Valley League foes.
On Sept. 20 they traveled to Cannon Falls to take on the Bombers and were sent packing 6-1.
Kaylee Muenzhuber scored the lone Tiger point at No. 4 singles, 6-0, 6-0.
At No. 1 singles Emma Brunkow lost 3-6, 2-6.
Sarah Ziebarth had a solid first set at No. 2 singles, 5-7 and then lost some steam and the second set 3-6.
At No. 3 singles Renae Harvey was denied 2-6, 1-6.
