Tennis Tigers go down 5-2 to Rochester Lourdes

The Lake City High School girls Tiger tennis team was back on the courts at home against rival Rochester Lourdes Sept. 19 and fell 5-2 to the tennis powerhouse.
Lake City’s two points came in doubles action.
Ava Wallerich and Emma Brunkow paired up at No. 1 doubles and sliced their way to a two set win 7-6 (3) tiebreaker and 6-2.
The No. 3 tandem of Dorothy Holland and Molly Kennedy made quick work of a 6-0, 6-3 win.
Kaylee Muenzhuber and Elsie Weinrich were outplayed 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 doubles.
In singles play the Eagles were in control.
