Tennis Tigers tumble twice
The Lake City Tigers boys tennis team played two matches last week and delayed one against Rochester Lourdes.
On April 19 they traveled to Shattuck St. Mary’s in Faribault to face off with the Lancers. They were out-played in the 6-1 loss.
The No. 2 doubles tandem of Trevor Duffing and Tyler Johnson notched a win after three sets at No. 2 doubles, 2-6, 6-1, 6-4.
Cole Lundell and Brandon Ormsby fell short at No. 1 doubles 2-6, 3-6.
At No. 3 doubles Michael McElmury and Elijah Ender were outplayed 0-6, 2-6.
