Tennis Tigers win 1, lose 1
The Tiger tennis girls split two matches last week. They ended the regular season on Monday with a loss to Stewartville 5-2.
Tallying points for Lake City were the No. 1 tandem in doubles Kasi Cronin and Ashley Thieren winning 7-5, 6-4.
At No. 2 doubles Emma Brunkow and Renae Harvey went out 3-6 in the first of three. They stormed back for a 6-1, 6-4 victory.
Sam Henning and Hailey Meincke were outplayed 1-6, 2-6 at No. 3 doubles.
In singles play, Sarah Ziebarth was defeated 3-6, 3-6 at the No. 1 spot.
Katherine Kennedy lost at No. 2 singles 3-6, 2-6.
