Tennis Tigers win over Cotter
The Tiger girls tennis team welcomed Winona Cotter to town Sept. 22. Lake City defeated the Ramblers 6-1.
Winona’s lone point came at No. 1 singles when Grace Dankers was defeated 1-6, 2-6.
At No. 2 singles, Emily Albright was in control 6-1, 6-1. Ava Wallerich showed her strength at No. 3 singles, 6-0, 6-0. Ashley Thieren cruised 6-1, 6-1 at No. 4 singles.
In doubles action, Katie Johnson and Kasi Cronin went three sets in their 5-7, 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 1.
