Tennis wins 4-3 over Red Wing

The Lake City High School girls tennis team rounded out their first day of school with a win on the road against the Red Wing Wingers on Tuesday, Sept. 7.

Number 1 singles Madeline Medvec earned a win for the team in two sets against the Wingers’ Hannah Kosec with a 7-5, 6-3 score.

Number 2 singles Brooke Bee followed suit with 6-0, 6-1 win over the Wingers’ Ava Johnson.

Number 3 singles Liberty Heise had a tough match on the court and fell 4-6, 0-6 to the Wingers’ Allie Roe.
