Three is magic number in girls blowout victory

Long range weapons helped the Lake City High School girls bounce back from their first loss of the season with a blowout 90-32 victory over Lewiston-Altura (L-A) Dec. 4 in Lewiston.

The Tigers were 12-24 from beyond the arc and had a 64 percent field goal percentage overall.

“We also did a great job playing defense,” Coach Drew Olinger said. “Last night our defense forced 20 turnovers, which led to quick and easy points at the other and of the floor. Overall we were able to control the tempo of the game, which led to our success.”
