Three Tigers place at section speech meet
The Lake City High School speech team had strong representation at the Section 1A Speech Meet April 9 in Byron with 13 entries and 14 competitors.
After three rounds of tough competition with the best in the section, Sarah Ziebarth, Mitchel Medvec and Benjamin Gardner advanced to final rounds.
After the final round and the analysis of three judges, Sarah Ziebarth placed sixth in Storytelling, Mitchel Medvec placed fifth in Informative and Benjamin Gardner placed second in Creative Expression.
