Tiger baseball streak ends in Section 1AA

 All good things must come to an end, and for the Lake City High School baseball team, it was  a good season.  The Tigers saw their post season run come to an end this week with two losses, but in the process they showed that they belonged in the Section 1AA final four.
Saturday the Tigers suffered an agonizingly close 2-1 10 inning loss to eventual champion Pine Island, which knocked Lake City down to the losers’ bracket where they had to face Chatfield, whom they had defeated the previous week for the East Sub-Section Championship.
