Tiger bowlers lose a close one to Pine Island

On Saturday, Sept. 24, the Lake City High School bowling team hosted their home meet at Port 104.

The varsity started their day taking on Rushford/Peterson. They lost that match 3-2. They took on Pine Island in the next match winning all five games to improve their record to 3-1 and 17-3 overall.

Leading the way was Zach Bremer and Josh Matanich at over 80 percent fill percentage for the day.

The Lake City junior varsity (JV) Black team lost both matches on the day. They lost to Winona Black and Lake City White 3-2.
