Tiger boys basketball wraps up season with awards banquet
The Lake City Tigers boys basketball team held its 2016-17 season banquet Sunday, April 9 at Lincoln High School, recapping what was a historic and record-breaking year.
For the first time in school history, the Tigers won 23 or more games in three consecutive seasons. The Tigers won a conference-best 11th division championship since 1993-94 and sixth overall league championship. Lake City joined Byron (2002-04) as the only team to three-peat as overall Hiawatha Valley League champions.
