Tiger boys beat Maranatha Christian Academy 61-51

A 16-6 run over the final six minutes lifted Lake City past Maranatha Christian Academy 61-51 in Brooklyn Park last Tuesday as the Tigers picked up a hard-fought non-conference victory.

Luke Narum scored five early points as the Tigers held a slim 11-10 lead after seven minutes of play. Lake City closed the first half on a 12-2 run over the final 6:39 to take a 26-16 lead into the break at halftime. Colter Hegge scored six of the 12 points during this run as the Mustangs made just one of their final 11 field goal attempts of the first half.
