Tiger boys capture HVL Gold for fifth straight year

Lake City hit a season-high 17 three-pointers and captured the Hiawatha Valley League Gold Division crown for a fifth straight season with a 73-53 win at Stewartville last Wednesday night. Four Lake City players reached double figures, led by Nathan Heise, who poured in a season-high 30 points including eight triples.
