Tiger boys climb to fifth in HVL after strong showing at Jewel

On May 8, the Lake City boys varsity golf team competed in the second Hiawatha Valley League (HVL) meet of the season, held at The Jewel Golf Club in Lake City. It was a beautiful day for golf, and the Tigers took full advantage, turning in one of their strongest performances yet.

Following the second round of HVL play, Lake City now sits in 5th place in the conference standings.

Senior Braxton Berlin led the Tigers with an even-par round of 71—the top individual score of the day. Berlin’s round featured six birdies on the day.
