Tiger boys control a determined PEM squad
Lake City used another hot start to the game to post its eighth consecutive victory Saturday night as the Tigers held off a furious rally by Plainview-Elgin-Millville (PEM) to pick up a key 73-62 victory.
Reid Gastner had a monster game to lead the Tigers as the sophomore piled up 19 points, nine assists, five rebounds and two steals. On a night where he became Lake City’s all-time leader in games played with 105, Marc Kjos had 18 points. Kjos passed former teammate Mitch Marien, who had set the mark last season.
