Tiger boys defeat Chatfield at home to open playoffs
Lake City defeated Chatfield 85-57 in the opening round of the Section 1AA playoffs on Feb. 26 in front of a home crowd.
“Gavyn Lorenson poured in 36 points, while Luke Narum had 20 points, including six three-point field goals as the Tigers (14-12) advance to the quarterfinals,” the boys basketball Facebook page said. “Simon Brand had 11 points and Colter Hegge chipped in six. Seniors Cade Oliver and Patrick Kennedy hit back-to-back three-point field goals to cap the game.”
