An 11-0 run to open the second half helped erase a listless first 18 minutes as Lake City rallied past Kasson-Mantorville for a 53-43 road victory last Tuesday night.
The first half featured six lead changes and seven ties as both teams shooting percentages nearly matched the ice cold temperatures outdoors. Josh Matanich provided a big spark off the bench for the Tigers, scoring all eight of his points in the opening period. He banked in a three-pointer from the left wing to knot the score at 17 with 7:23 to play until halftime.
