Tiger boys fall to Wingers in golf season opener

The Lake City High School boys golf team opened their season on Monday, April 17, by hosting the Red Wing Wingers at Mt. Frontenac Golf Course. 

Lake City lost the contest by a score of 306-313. 

The Tigers could not overcome the Wingers one-two punch of Cecil Belisle and Spencer Kronbeck who posted scores of 69 and 74 on the par 71 course. 

Lake City’s two best scores were Parker Schurhammer 76 and Thomas Huettl 77. 

Other scores for Lake City were Brennan Rothgarn 80, Carter Gnotke 80, Riley Fritz 80, and Levi Herbst 81.
