Tiger boys go on 29-0 run en route to victory over Pine Island

Five Lake City players finished in double figures as a dominant 29-0 run spanning both halves lifted the Tigers to a 78-49 victory over Pine Island last Tuesday night at Lincoln High School.

The Tigers recovered from a sluggish start to the game that saw Pine Island open a 9-3 lead after four minutes of play. Keegan Ryan sparked Lake City with 11 points, including a trio of three-point field goals. Ryan’s deep triple from the volleyball line gave Lake City its first lead of the game at 17-14 with 10:07 to play in the first half.
