A 24-year old record was broken Friday night as Nathan Heise became Lake City’s all-time leading scorer in the Tigers 66-36 blowout victory at Zumbrota-Mazeppa. Heise’s record-breaking shot fittingly came on a three-pointer on the opening play of the second half via an assist from Reid Gastner.
Justin Wohlers scored a career-high 20 points, including four three-pointers to help the Tigers race out to a 49-19 halftime lead en route to defeating the Cougars for a 17th straight time.
