Lake City scored 19 points in the final four minutes of the first half to take control and never looked back in picking up a 78-60 road victory at rival Rochester Lourdes last Friday night.
Jake Wohlers hit a three-pointer to cap a 9-2 run by the Tigers to open the game over the first four minutes of play. Colin Meade, who has committed to play at Saint John’s University in Collegeville next season, displayed his all-around game early as his three-point play brought Lourdes within one at 13-12 with 8:31 to play before halftime.
