Tiger boys place third at Jewel Invite
On May 12, the Lake City varsity boys golf team hosted the Jewel Invitational at The Jewel Golf Club.
It was a beautiful day for golf, and the course was in excellent condition. The Tigers made the most of playing on their home course, finishing in third place with a team score of 324. Albert Lea claimed the team title with a 306.
Senior Braxton Berlin led Lake City with a strong round of 74, earning second place individually. His round included a birdie on the 5th hole and back-to-back birdies on holes 11 and 12.
