Tiger boys soccer wins two of three
The Lake City Boys Soccer Program met Red Wing on their home pitch last Monday. Lake City converted a throw-in to a goal with some quick passing and a finish from Calvin Stolz. Warren Stolz’s breakaway goal gave the team a 2-goal advantage. Benny Lopez connected with Warren Stolz on a throw-in to earn the team’s third goal of the game. Red Wing answered with 2 goals in the second half, but Lake City defense locked it down for the last 14 minutes leading to a 3-2 victory. The C-squad team tallied a 1-0 win against Red Wing.
