Tiger boys trail the whole way in loss to Bears

Hiawatha Valley League leading Byron defeated the Lake City boys basketball team 88-68 last Tuesday night as the Bears led from start to finish.
Byron scored the first 10 points of the game before the Tigers fought back within four following a trio of three-point field goals. The Bears responded with seven straight points in a key stretch as the lead grew to 22-11 with 9:19 to play in the first half.
