Heise passes Breuer on all-time scoring list

Lake City moved to 3-0 on the season with an 89-72 victory over visiting Saint Charles in the home opener last Tuesday at Lincoln High School.  The Tigers led from start to finish in a rematch of the 2019 Section 1AA Championship game in a contest that featured no shortage of offensive fireworks.
Nathan Heise scored 34 points to pass Tigers legend Randy Breuer for second place on the school’s all-time scoring list, while Justin Wohlers finished with a career-high 19 points, including five three-pointers, as Lake City held off a second half comeback by the Saints.
