Lake City improved to 4-0 for the first time since 2003 as the third-ranked Tigers defeated seventh-ranked Plainview-Elgin-Millville 13-7 on the road Friday night. Justin Wohlers connected with Matt DeMars on a 19-yard touchdown pass with 2:42 remaining for the winning margin.
The Tigers relied on an opportunistic defense that recovered three key fumbles on a night where offense was tough to come by as Lake City won despite rushing for just 28 total yards.
